Pokemon Smash updated yesterday that in June of this year, Japanese gamers will be seeing a direct sequel to Pokemon Black and White.
Junichi Masuda unveiled “Pokemon Black 2” and “Pokemon White 2”, which are the third games in the Generation V series of the Pokemon universe.
Will we be seeing any new Pokemon in this direct sequel? Well like Generation IV and it’s move to give Shaymin a “special form”, another Pokemon will be getting its own special form.
In the picture above, it shows Ice/Dragon legendary Kyurem in what looks like a Zekrom/Reshiram style. These two forms are known as “Black Kyurem” and “White Kyurem” at the moment, but what’s interesting about them is that Masuda lists them as separate Pokemon. Its not known if these names are official, but more updates will come in the next four months leading up to the Japanese release date of Black and White 2.
And if you thought two new games were enough, how about a movie update?
A new poster was revealed for the upcoming 15th Pokemon film in the series, 2nd Generation V movie. Not only does it feature Kyurem and well as its two new forms listed above, but below the title it looks to be a teaser for a short film within the movie, featuring the legendary fifth gen Pokemon, Meloetta. The title is dubbed “Meloetta’s Secret Recital”.
