E3 2012: Watch_Dogs is the new IP title from Ubisoft Montreal

Talk about an exciting way to end off what was easily the best conference so far today.

Ubisoft has definitely won the hearts of millions, with cool games such as the new Assassin’s Creed, Rayman Legends, FarCry 3 and many more. But what definitely one the show was at the end of the conference, when Ubisoft Montreal’s Yves Guillemont showed off footage from the development company’s newest IP title, Watch_Dogs.

Originally thought to be under the title of “ctOS“, Watch_Dogs throws you in the shoes of a man who has total control over any and all surveillance and electronic equipment in his facility, and has the ability to hack into computer systems and use them as weapons against his enemies.

Ubisoft displays some positively breath-taking graphics, and delves into a really rich, unique and interesting story that has those all over the Twitterverse getting super excited.

We’ll keep you updated on more from this new IP as it develops. But for now, here are both the introduction trailer and game demo for the game. For more info, you can check out watchdogs.ubi.com.
